In 1919, Lucien Bisson started the company with a horse named “Dan” and a flatbed wagon called a “jigger.”
In 1923, he bought his first gas-powered truck, a hand-crank 1919 GMC. Over the years, Bisson has grown to 150 employees, a fleet of 100 trucks, and diverse services that meet the moving and storage needs of families and businesses across the U.S. from our headquarters in Maine.
